Re: [hylafax-users] ratio DONE/FAILED
Hi Darren,
Well actually it's impossible to compare two sets of test data in the 'real
world'. This test was designed to compare Brooktrout and Mainpine hardware
in a 64 port analog, high volume, send only environment.
This was using FaxBack's Net SatisFAXtion software which in my opinion is
one of the most robust in the industry. It has been used by ourselves as a
reference for the last 10 years.
I should also say that the customer testimonies, lab and field tests, imply
that HylaFAX is similar in 'reliability'.

Of course, statistics like this don't mean a lot unless you specify what
software was being used, since there's a (sometimes large) error rate
contribution by the software itself in many cases.
