So if you truly are running into the same problem that the linked-to
thread is discussing, then it was fixed in HylaFAX+ 5.2.1 a long time
ago (over two years now). It would be wise if you just went ahead and
upgraded to 5.4.2 and tried to reproduce the problem there.
As a general rule you should be using the latest version whenever
reporting what you believe to be a bug. Otherwise you run the risk of
wasting your time on a bug that was fixed two years ago.
