Re: [hylafax-users] No response to PPS repeated 3 times.:

Hi Daren and everyone,
Thanks for the reply.I tried your approach and installed
hylafax-4.3.4 and tried faxing the document to Ricoh faxmachine but I got
the same error.I tried many subversions in 4.3 but still received the same
error.
I didnt have any problem in sending faxes to Panasonic receivers in
all the Hylafax versions I have tried.
This issue has already been reported(USR modem and a RICOH receiver
was used) in this forum in the following threads.
http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2006-05/msg00539.php
http://www.hylafax.org/archive/2004-06/msg00217.php
but no solution in specific was mentioned. The problem many suspect is in
the Ricoh firmware.
Is this problem still being encountered by anyone and is there
any way to get around with this Ricoh firmware issue ?

Thank you all,
Aravindan
