That's correct - we include default email templates for a number of 
languages, as well as one example of what can be done using HTML in the 
notification emails to add more 'branded' notifications messages. For 
more information, see:

If you're going to tweak the look and feel, we recommend you create your 
own custom template directory, as discussed at the above URL.
