Hi List,

   Thanks Karmit.  I must admit that I was uncertain whether all of
the DB-25 pins were actually needed, in which case connecting to a
DB-9 at the PC end would be sufficient.  Let me purchase the modem and
a DB-9 card and see whether I can make it work.
