If you're using the debian packages /var/spool/hylafax/etc and /etc/hylafax are "sort-of synced" by the init scripts. So on debian (and it's derivatives like ubuntu) you'll also need: rm /etc/hylafax/config.<devid> > Removing a modem seems to require a fair amount of knowledge about the OS > and underlying directory structure....why isn't there a 'rmmodem' command? Because no one's proposed or written one yet ;-) a. -- Aidan Van Dyk aidan@xxxxxxxx Senior Software Developer +1 215 825-8700 x8103 iFAX Solutions, Inc. http://www.ifax.com/ ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxx*
