It did exactly what it was supposed to do, then. The killtime is there to notify the user who submitted it that the fax is not making it out in the expected period of time... thus enabling the user to either contact the administrator to figure out what is going on or to send the fax in some other way.


Thus, one should consider the killtime to be represent the urgency of the fax to be sent.

Is there a way to control the kill time and extend it?


So, it sounds like the urgency of your faxes and the killtime are not in agreement. Thus, you should submit the faxes with a different killtime. This will depend on the client program you are using. Please consult the manual for that program to know how to adjust killtime.
