Re: [hylafax-users] HDLC Frame too short...

I was asked by my Boss to evaluate Hylafax for my company, before purchasing
an 3500,- Euro Appliance. I have to say that nearly everthing worked out of
the box, but sending a fax :/. I set up Debian and installed Hylafax 4.4.3.
I'm using a single Modem (1456VQE Topic Chipset). For cabeling reasons I'm
using a NPort 5610 RS232-Device Server.
Everytime I send a Fax I get this:

...retry,retry....
You say "retry,retry", but I am not certain that it means the same as
what is given.
If the logging you provides is an accurate description of the entirety
of what occurs later and in subsequent calls, then I'd say that the
modem is unusable for fax.
Thanks,
Lee.
