Well, first of all realize that this is a non-ECM session, so perfect copy quality cannot be guaranteed. The sender needs to support ECM to get guaranteed perfect copy quality.Thank you very much for your kind reply, Lee!
However, the problem is most likely due to some consistent audio corruption problem on the phone line (are you using VoIP?) or because flow control on your modem is broken.
So take a look at your modem config file and if you're using "FlowControl: xonxoff" change that to rtscts or vice-versa. If that doesn't help then it's probably due to audio corruption on the line somewhere between you and the receiver, and you'll need to work with the telephone companies involved to clear it out.
Again, if you're using VoIP then this is no surprise.
