Lee, thank you for your reply. However, "NOTIFY_FAXMASTER=never" stopped 
the second email in the above list which is actually required 
notification. I still get the duplicate fax mail with pdf attachment at 
admin@xxxxxxxxxxxx

FYI, I upgraded from hylafax-4.4.4. There was no such a behaviour with 
hylafax-4.4.4 on the same system.
