[hylafax-users] Failed Faxes Ignoring FaxMaster
I have version 4.2.3 running on a CentOS 4.x server. It's working
fine. Today I was asked to change who receives the email when a fax
fails. I looked at /etc/aliases and found
FaxMaster: username
I change it to
FaxMaster: newusername
ran newaliases and restarted both Hylafax and sendmail. I sent a fax I
knew would fail and the email goes to root, not FaxMaster. I found that
root has an entry in aliases that goes to username as well. I can't
change the alias on root to newusername as they would receive all email
root should receive.
I can not find why Hylafax is sending to root rather than FaxMaster.
