HylaFAX's NSF parsing is quite accurate for the make (manufacturer) but 
not for the model.  So Canon is quite likely correct.  The model may or 
may not be accurate.

In the NSF any model identification is manufacturer-specific, and we 
have not received any information from any manufacturer with regards to 
understanding and interpreting their NSF signals.
