i hope the c55 is a gsm-modem/phone... i've currently only mail.. no web ;)
i also had these problems... your GSM provider simply does not let you
send FAX... it took me 2 month to change my providers mind ;)
i was able to send but not to receive fax...

Although they aren't likely a problem I would suggest removing all
of the lines that begin with "Class1" as they're all the default
setting... except for ECM support which you really would be wise to

The c000000019 file is a session with a working destination
The response from the receiver was RTP to EOP. This should not
indicate a failure. RTP means that it got the page but that it
cannot accept any more.
and the c000000018 is a logfile of a failed session with a
different endpoint.

A NO CARRIER result to the AT+FTM=96 command is undefined. It
probably means that the receiver hung up. But it would be nice to
know what the receiver's machine says about that.
