What's in the Class1SwitchingCmd: "<delay:7>" ?

It tells HylaFAX to use a software pause instead of actually listening for silence on the line.

Does it work for other classes, such as 1.0? I guess not.

It works in Class 1.0, yes, but not in a V.34-Fax. HylaFAX will use it when appropriate.

That said, listening for silence is one of those features that I wouldn't discard so quickly.

Thanks,

Lee.

The MT5634ZBA got stuck another time, with all lights on.

I enclose the log file, that reports :
Dec 12 16:12:36.49: [18829]: Bad HDLC terminating flag received.
Dec 12 16:13:06.51: [18829]: Timeout awaiting synchronization sequence
...
Dec 12 16:19:05.54: [18829]: T.30 T2 timeout, expected signal not received

Is there anything obvious I can do on the config file?

thanks for your support,
-Gian
Sorry, Lee, I had missed your message about:
ModemSoftResetCmd: AT
ModemOnHookCmd: AT

Have added them in my config file.

-Gian
