[hylafax-users] Recommendations
Hello,
I just installed
VoIP on my internal network and I am looking for a solution to be able
to send and recieve faxes from an email client
(Outlook).
Infrastucure
is:
SIP server
(CommuniGate) -->AudioCodes SIP to PSTN gateway(supports H323/T38)
-->PRI handoff -->PSTN by way of CISCO IAD.
We have a block of
DIDs (a seperate # for each user) and want each person to receive and
send faxes by way of the email client.
I have read
about HylaFax and T38modem... I would be hesitant to go the route of
T38modem if the support for the software is n/a since the site seems to be down
for a bit.
Is there a
recommendation regarding a pseudo modem that will work with HylaFax or is the
T38modem the way to go?
btw - I am
proficient with VoIP and SIP, but not the fax protocols.
Thanks,
Jennifer C. Eyrich
