HylaFAX supports color fax reception provided that both your libtiff and 
your libjpeg are patched for it.  See:

In the future I hope to remove the dependency on patching libjpeg for 
this feature.  I believe that it can be done without patching libjpeg.  
I just haven't had it a priority to work that out.  Getting this done is 
a prerequisite to getting color fax sending going.
