There were changes to libtiff after 3.7.2 that make the ITULAB (a.k.a. 
CIELAB) patch not apply cleanly... and even with some work to make it 
apply it doesn't work right.  So for the moment those that want/need 
color fax reception with HylaFAX ... I advise that you install:

libjpeg-6b + patch
libtiff-3.7.2 + patch
HylaFAX+ 5.1.11

In fact, I offer SRPMs for all three of these here:

(Please disregard/ignore the libtiff-3.8.2 SRPMs for color fax... as I 
discovered - if memory serves me correct - that they didn't work for 
color after I hung them there.)

These are my recommendations because it's what I have it currently 
running with... not because it shouldn't work with other versions.
