NO CARRIER means that the modem (iaxmodem) was unable detect a fax 
carrier in the call audio.  So... the idea is to make sure the audio is 
getting through and that it is not getting corrupted.  You can record 
the audio with iaxmodem and listen to it.  Please refer to the iaxmodem 
README for that:
