Hi,

 I have resolved the issues with modem and unix server,
 1) I replaced the nonworking cable between modem and unix server
 2) modem configuration file - I was using the file with name config.ttySb
     After I change this file from config.ttySb to config.ttyb and faxgetty 
run,
     I got the faxstat as given below,

     HylaFAX scheduler on sfocstsdut01: Running
     Modem ttyS1 (+1.415.913.5511): Running and Idle

    Sending the fax is working perfectly now.
