[hylafax-users] Verticcal Resolutions
I see in my sendfax that the VRes is set to 98 and this sets it even if the
remote can use a higher resolution.
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE best rate 14400 bit/s
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE max A4 page width (215 mm)
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE max unlimited page length
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE best vres 7.7 line/mm
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE format support: MH
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: REMOTE best 0 ms/scanline
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE 14400 bit/s
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: SEND file "docq/cover11;f0"
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE A4 page width (215 mm)
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE unlimited page length
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE 3.85 line/mm
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE 1-D MH
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: USE 0 ms/scanline
Feb 16 08:57:35.51: [10487]: SEND training at v.17 14400 bit/s
As cost of connect time is not an issue for me, I'd like to use whatever the
REMOTE says its best resolution is. Where do I set what parameter? VRes in
sendfax seems to be absolute and authoritative.
