First off, why is your modem not attempting V.17, at least? Have you deliberately disabled V.17 use?



Absolutely not, I don't even know how to do it. I've just forced MH formatting for this receiver as a workaround for the problem I had some days ago about truncated pages.


Does it use 9600 bps every time you send here? Look at the info file in the /var/spool/hylafax/info/number file... look for hasV17Trouble. Is it true?
