[hylafax-users] Test Eicon/Modem at lower speeds

Hi all,

I'm testing hylafax with Eicon Server boards and had a question regarding
connection speeds.

The server is configured to use Eicon's ttyds for fax receipt and sending. We
have done some testing on the configs and I was hoping for some help and user
experience.

1. Could we force the boards to connect at lower speeds, f.e. fixed to 9600baud?
I tried the settings in the Eicon config, but that seems to work for their fax
app only. We had some connection problems and I would like to see if this might help.

2. What would be the preferred modem config, Class 1 or Class 2?

3. Is the default Class config sufficient or are there known 'tweaks'. If so, is
a preferred config available online?

Thanks in advance,

Rick
