Off topic: I check out various fax servers under Windows - there Eicon Diva
Server realy beat any analog modem. Looks like up-to-date fax servers cannot
understand how to works analog modem.

Sorry to disagree Aivils, but HylaFAX is a good example of a very up-to-date
fax server which knows exactly how to get the best out of Analog modems.
Basically, you need robust firmware in the modem and a high quality Class
1/1.0 driver in the fax application.... If you look around you can find good
examples of both.

The real point is that Digital is not better than Analog... rather that you
have to look carefully at the requirements before making a decision (Darren
summed this up nicely earlier in the discussion).
