Linuxant support replied that I should use the 'AT &F X1' init. string to see if there is a difference for the 'no carrier' issue. They also suggested rebooting. Well, I did, several times.
I can't seem to find where to put this init string however. /var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.modem looked promising but on the other hand I thought it would use data from Class1 or Class1.0 config files? Where in Hylafax config should I put the 'AT &F X1' init. string?
