Re: [hylafax-users] Hylafax and HSF Modem setup
Linuxant support replied that I should use the 'AT &F X1' init. string
to see if there is a difference for the 'no carrier' issue. They also
suggested rebooting. Well, I did, several times.
I can't seem to find where to put this init string however.
/var/spool/hylafax/etc/config.modem looked promising but on the other
hand I thought it would use data from Class1 or Class1.0 config files?
Where in Hylafax config should I put the 'AT &F X1' init. string?
Sorry Lee - the syslog was this:

This is the session log not syslog.
And, the NO CARRIER message is coming from the modem, so... you'd
probably need to contact Linuxant for a resolution to this. They
recently suggested to someone that they use an ATX command in their
dialstring.

Thanks Lee!
So I got a key from them and the driver seems to be just peachy now.
Only now the syslog now tells me "no carrier detected":
The fax logfile:

Hylafax seems to think the modem is just fine
#cat status/modem
Running and idle

Apparently there used to be a bug related to this issue. But the
status looks to be resolved.
Any ideas?

OK
The Linuxant drivers only support fax with the registered version.
It's like $15.
