You indicated you are running on PC, does this mean Windows? What version? W2K and up allow for performance counters for processes and such, providing a historical view of system resource use.
That will give you an idea of what amount of resources is in use during the processing.
If you have linux/unix on a PC, run 'top' for real time viewing of resources being used by daemons and processes.
Currently I am running Hylafax 4.2.1 on PC: one CPU 2.8 GHz and 512Mb memory There are two software internal fax modems. Total faxes a day are about 400.
Is it OK or should I boost more CPU power or memory ?
