There's an issue with HylaFAX where if a doc is empty or the
conversion to tiff fails in a subtle way it will make the call and
then discover it has nothing to send and just hang up w/o doing
anything.

So, try looking at the ps files in docq/*, are they good ps?
Then try converting them to tiff using bin/ps2fax, do you get good tif?
