The Digium cards do not have DSP's and, therefore, will not function as
'modems' for use with hylafax. I.e.: There's no tty interface with the
Digium drivers and, even if there was, there's no 'modem' hardware on the
board to talk to.

The hardware I've seen recommended for doing T1/E1 type stuff includes the
Eicon Diva Server and Patton 2977 RAS (formerly Digi Datafire) boards.
