It was external modem only.
I don't understand the log :
Mar 04 09:33:05.30: [ 1082]: <-- [11:AT+FRM=146\r]
Is it comming from the fax receiver or the fax sender ?
The thing that I need to know is "the problem is comming from the
sender machine (hylafax under Solaris) or the recevier machine (hylafax
under Linux) ?"
I think the problem came from the serial port but which one ?

Can you please send the output of 'lspci' with each modem? (I assume
that they are PCI modems.)

I don't know what to tell you more. The AT+FRM=146 command is not
supposed to respond/result in OK. If we can figure out what is
happening, then we can maybe make a workaround.
My guess is, though, that these are softmodems and that a
newer/different version of the softmodem driver will make things work.
