No, I was using data mode. I would've typed the fax setup commands in the
config file, but I expected them to be correct and assumed it was a firmware
problem or faxsend issue. I'll try calling in fax mode, using the commands
in my config.

I've never seen faxsend ignore incoming data (unless flow control isn't
setup properly). Did you run the modem in fax mode when dialing with
minicom?
