[hylafax-users] * Hylafax 4.1.8 - Regular Expression Problems *

Hi,

We are running Hylafax 4.1.8 on a Redhat ES 3.0 system, with a total of 13
modems USB modems using Class 1. Modems ttyUSB0 -> ttyUSB5 for outgoing
faxes and ttyUSB6 -> ttyUSB12 for incoming faxing. Faxing itself it working
fine, the problem we are experiencing are with modem groups + regular
expressions.

/var/spool/hylafax/destctrls
^[+]*.*$ Modem=outnow

On a similar server we were running previously, setup running Hylafax 4.1.8
+ Redhat 9.0 this works fine in /var/spool/hylafax/config:
ModemGroup: "outnow:ttyUSB[0-8]"
Sending out faxes on ttyUSB0-8.

But on the ES 3.0 system we have:
ModemGroup: "outnow:ttyUSB[0-5]"

And faxes are being sent out on all lines including tty USB10,11 + 12...

If we have:
ModemGroup: "outnow:ttyUSB[0,2-5]"
Works, but doesn't send out on ttyUSB1 which is expected.

If we have:
ModemGroup: "outnow:ttyUSB[0,1,2-5]"
It sends out on ALL lines...it seems like it is matching both the first and
the second number.

I have checked to see if regex is the problem by doing the following:
[root@roadrunner etc]# ls config.ttyUSB[0-8] config.ttyUSB0 config.ttyUSB2
config.ttyUSB4 config.ttyUSB6 config.ttyUSB8
config.ttyUSB1 config.ttyUSB3 config.ttyUSB5 config.ttyUSB7

And this gives me the result I need...

HylaFAX scheduler on roadrunner.ext.maynegroup.com:
Running Modem ttyUSB1 (Outgoing1): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB2 (Outgoing2): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB3 (Outgoing3): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB4 (Outgoing4): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB5 (Outgoing5): Waiting for modem to come ready
Modem ttyUSB0 (Outgoing0): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB6 (Incoming0): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB7 (Incoming1): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB8 (Incoming2): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB9 (Incoming3): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB10 (Incoming4): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB11 (Incoming5): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB12 (Incoming6): Running and idle

Any ideas?

Regards
