Good day, We're using hylafax v.4.1.8 with as5350 (open h323, t38modem and etc.). Looks like we've got some problems when sending through cisco to fax-machines. At first sight recieved fax looks fine but when we take a closer look there are some distorted lines. It feels like number of lines used to print a single line of text decreased. Sometimes 1 or 2 or even 3 lines are missing. This bug appears only when sending to fax-machine. In case of modem on opposite side, we recieve a pretty fine picture. You might say - RTFM, but we've studied readmes and howtos carefully. What's our problem? When using hylafax with zyxel omni 56k instead of cisco and whenzyxel was configured to use fax protocol class 2.0 we didn't have problems with quality. Class 1 or class 2 on zyxel caused the same cisco problem. And one more question: several fax-machines do not process EOP command properly. Here's a part of log from cisco - fax machine session: Dec 19 15:26:24.06: [ 4062]: SEND send EOP (no more pages or documents) Dec 19 15:26:24.06: [ 4062]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] Dec 19 15:26:24.06: [ 4062]: --> [7:CONNECT] Dec 19 15:26:24.06: [ 4062]: <-- data [3] Dec 19 15:26:24.06: [ 4062]: <-- data [2] Dec 19 15:26:25.14: [ 4062]: --> [2:OK] Dec 19 15:26:25.14: [ 4062]: <-- [9:AT+FRH=3\r] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: --> [0:] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: MODEM <Empty line> Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: <-- data [1] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: --> [2:OK] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: No response to MPS or EOP repeated 3 tries Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: <-- [9:AT+FTH=3\r] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: --> [7:CONNECT] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: <-- data [3] Dec 19 15:26:28.24: [ 4062]: <-- data [2] Dec 19 15:26:29.32: [ 4062]: --> [2:OK] Dec 19 15:26:29.32: [ 4062]: <-- [5:ATH0\r] Dec 19 15:26:29.43: [ 4062]: --> [2:OK] Dec 19 15:26:29.43: [ 4062]: SESSION END ------------------------------ Sergey Sidorenko SaimaTelecom ------------------------------ ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@xxxxxxxxxxx < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@xxxxxxxxxxxx*
