Notice that we send EOP (via +FET), the modem then gives us garbage and resets itself nearly 30 seconds later. Clearly a firmware bug. You can appeal to MultiTech for a fix, but in any case, you must not use Class 2 on this modem. Use Class 1. We can fix bugs there. We can't usually fix Class 2 bugs (we don't make the firmware). > Oct 01 12:00:37.57: [19166]: <-- data [2] > Oct 01 12:00:37.57: [19166]: SEND end page > Oct 01 12:00:37.64: [19166]: --> [22:怘f怘] > Oct 01 12:00:37.64: [19166]: --> [6:ҍ] > Oct 01 12:00:38.41: [19166]: --> [1:] > Oct 01 12:00:38.41: [19166]: --> [6:ҍ] > Oct 01 12:01:11.03: [19166]: --> [3:ATZ] > Oct 01 12:01:11.03: [19166]: --> [2:OK] > Oct 01 12:01:11.03: [19166]: SEND send EOP (no more pages or > documents) > Oct 01 12:01:11.03: [19166]: <-- [9:AT+FET=2\r] > Oct 01 12:01:11.20: [19166]: --> [8:AT+FET=2] > Oct 01 12:01:11.20: [19166]: --> [5:ERROR] Another fine example of broken firmware. Notice that we send RTC and the modem feeds us back garbage, and again, the modem resets itself nearly 30 seconds later. Use Class 1. If you have errors there, then send those logs. Whatever you do, you cannot use Class 2 on these modems with these firmware versions without risking these problems. Consider your AT+FCLASS=? result to not contain "2".
