I don't think the modem is the problem - the speaker is on
and makes no sound (not even the "click" when it picks up). The modem is also
used by vgetty for voice messages and there is no problem there. I turned on
full server tracing (0x03FFFF) and there seems to be no action at all after
the SUBMIT JOB xx. Also, all the qXX files in /sendq have totpages set to
0... maybe this is the problem or maybe it gets set later in the
process...??
I also tried turning off the vgetty to see if it was locking
the line but then sendfax gave "Unable to open schedular FIFO: No such device
or address" in response to the JSUB.. This job seems to submit fine when
vgetty (the one from mgetty-sendfax) is running (wierd or what?).
Any
ideas?
Thanks, Toby
