[hylafax-users] faxrm and admin password: Password incorrect

Platform: FreeBSD 4.2-stable, hylafax-4.1.b2 installed from ports.

Yes, I have read the archives, but I can't get the suggested methods to work.

Fax jobs are owned by user nobody which I can't su into. So root need to be 
able to farm jobs.

I have faxadduser-ed root:

/usr/local/sbin/faxadduser -a 123abc root

In etc/hosts.hfaxd I see

root:::VQVuDydd0eIT6


I telnet:

220 enos.uit.no server (HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1beta2) ready.
user root
230 User root logged in.
admin 123abc
530 Password incorrect.


What is going wrong?
