IIRC, the drivers normally are written around unidrv.dll and you write
miniport drivers. This means you get to make your own setup screen if you
like, but you don't have to.
Download the win98 DDK at http://www.microsoft.com/ddk/ (28MB or so)
extract only the printer stuff, related documentation and the building
base.
You need MSVC5.0 (or 3.0 too I think) to make it work, the others
versions can't build drivers (ROFL)
