I should have grep both cases...:):) How silly of me... You helped me solved this EOL problem. Later I have another problem. (SOLVED) My incoming faxes quality were very poor and always rejected by Faxgetty program. SOLUTION - Then I changed my modem to class 1 and it works. Thanks to Dmitry for that suggestion earlier on on this mailing list. I have "cc" to you guys as well, because I checked the mailing list and you are on the same topic/problem as well. Hope this will help you guys. Then I have the same problem as Adam. (SOLVED) Everything works fine. Receiving is fine but the email confirmation gave a ftp link which my browser can't view. SOLUTION - Changed the file permission to (instead of the default 600) RecvFileMode: 0666 LogFileMode: 0666 my log file ************ ---- Transcript of session follows ---- May 22 20:48:36.04: [ 266]: SESSION BEGIN 00000026 65655636804 May 22 20:48:36.04: [ 266]: <-- [4:ATA\r] May 22 20:48:43.86: [ 266]: --> [5:+FCON] May 22 20:48:43.86: [ 266]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION May 22 20:48:43.86: [ 266]: RECV FAX: begin May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: --> [29:+FTSI: "5636804 "] May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE TSI "5636804" May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: --> [22:+FDCS: 0,3,0,2,0,0,0,3] May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 9600 bit/s May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE wants page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE wants unlimited page length May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 3.85 line/mm May 22 20:48:45.83: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 1-D MR May 22 20:48:47.86: [ 266]: --> [2:OK] May 22 20:48:47.86: [ 266]: <-- [7:AT+FDR\r] May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: --> [5:+FCFR] May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: --> [22:+FDCS: 0,3,0,2,0,0,0,3] May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 9600 bit/s May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: REMOTE wants page width 1728 pixels in 215 mm May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: REMOTE wants unlimited page length May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 3.85 line/mm May 22 20:48:49.49: [ 266]: REMOTE wants 1-D MR May 22 20:48:50.18: [ 266]: --> [7:CONNECT] May 22 20:48:50.18: [ 266]: RECV: begin page May 22 20:48:50.18: [ 266]: RECV: send trigger 022 May 22 20:49:03.95: [ 266]: RECV: 94 total lines, 92 bad lines, 87 consecutive bad lines May 22 20:49:03.95: [ 266]: --> [8:+FPTS: 1] May 22 20:49:05.17: [ 266]: --> [7:+FET: 2] May 22 20:49:05.17: [ 266]: RECV recv EOP (no more pages or documents) May 22 20:49:05.17: [ 266]: --> [2:OK] May 22 20:49:05.18: [ 266]: RECV: REJECT page quality, 2% good lines (95% required) May 22 20:49:05.18: [ 266]: RECV send RTN (retrain negative) May 22 20:49:05.18: [ 266]: <-- [10:AT+FPTS=2\r] May 22 20:49:05.30: [ 266]: --> [2:OK] May 22 20:49:05.30: [ 266]: <-- [7:AT+FDR\r] May 22 20:49:08.83: [ 266]: --> [8:+FHNG: 0] May 22 20:49:08.83: [ 266]: REMOTE HANGUP: Normal and proper end of connection (code 0) May 22 20:49:08.83: [ 266]: RECV FAX (00000026): recvq/fax00008.tif from 5636804, route to <unspecified>, 0 pages in 0:25 May 22 20:49:08.84: [ 266]: RECV FAX: Normal and proper end of connection May 22 20:49:08.84: [ 266]: RECV FAX (00000026): session with 5636804 terminated abnormally: Normal and proper end of connection May 22 20:49:08.84: [ 266]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00008.tif" "ttyS0" "00000026" "Normal and proper end of connection" Please accept my humble appreciation to all that help me get so far. This fax really is tough to install and configure especially with all the AT command sets. I am glad that I got it work now. I am willing to share my experience with those who have similar problems like me. One question - How do I know which is class 1 or class 2 modem? I am lazy to search for my modem specs(can't remember where I put them). Anyone know the class for external Prolink 33.6 and external USRobotic 56K modem?
