I'd suggest a check of 2 things...

Firstly - What procceses are running...? Mine looks like this..

[root@mazfax /root]# ps ax|grep fax
 3049  p0 S    0:00 grep fax
  360  ?  S    0:00 /usr/local/sbin/hfaxd -i hylafax
 2814  ?  S    0:00 /usr/local/sbin/faxq
 2858  ?  S    0:00 /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty ttyS0

Next.. Check out /var/log/messages & look for any errors..

/var/spool/fax/docq.
		Why the hylafax doesn't send the fax but just queue?

		It worked.
		    sendfax command: sendfax -d 6011042 hello.txt
