Re: saving files in recvq other than tiff

Oh, Jens, you've asked a good and difficult question. The received files
are in tiffg3 format: you will first need software on the Mac that can view
these directly or you will have to alter faxrcvd to convert these files to
some other format, such as several pages of TIFF or Postscript.

Second, you will need some way on the Suns to add the resources and
data forks by hand. I'm not sure how to do that: do you know how the
Solaris is storing them now, as AppleDouble or what?

It might be a lot easier for you to take advantage of the newer
web-serving tools at ftp://ftp.sgi.com/sgi/fax/contrib/ to make those
files accessible via a browser on the Mac, and save the file-system
mounting, etc.
