Thank you - that looks like a great solution for interfacing linux with more 
RS232 modems without installing more PCIE cards.  It would probably be much 
cheaper to install more serial cards, though.  I have a couple of free PCIEx8 
slots.

Note that I prefer not to use internal fax/modem cards - this allows me to 
swap out external modems on the fly without taking down the server if one
is ever a wedged or unresponsive (or outright failed).
