While my configuration isn?t the same as yours, I have run into roughly similar issues in the past, and it always comes down to one config file or another.  Methodically going back through the configs and making sure everything is set up correctly, and there aren?t any special characters (especially if you are using WinSCP and editing the files from a Windows machine) is unfortunately your next step, unless someone else has had an identical problem and already run through the solution.

Well up until now it was a development server. So I actually did restart hylafax every time this situation appeared.

What I noticed as well is that sometimes the restarts of capi4hylafax lead to changing the rights of /dev/capi20.

Overall it seems that my configuration is not completely correct. Hylafax functions but sometimes this 0:0 pages TTS appear and sometimes /dev/capi20 is not available for hylafax and Waiting for server to come ready appears.

Hi,

 there is something strange going on with my hylafax instance. I am sending a fax. It comes into the queue. faxstat -s shows Pages 0:0 and TTS Status is empty. ps -ef |grep getty doesnt show faxgetty running. The fax stays in the queue and is never being send.

 If I restart hylafax and capi4hylafax the fax is sent and faxgetty is to be seen with ps -ef.

 The problem is I can't restart the server after each fax :). Could't find passing solution in the mailing list so asking what am I missing? Thanks in advance.
