I'm not quite sure if you ask about hylafax or the Dialogic card firmware and drivers.

 

To my knowing Dialogic has some license checks in the firmware of their PRI cards. At least I remember, the installation dialogue for the Diva Server drivers contained something of this kind. I don't know the Dialogic D/300JCT-1E1 driver kit, so I can't say if there is something similar.

 

For hylafax (at least the 4.x version contained in lenny)  I don't see any limitations for using 30 fax channels, as long as the card drivers provides a tty-interface (virtual fax modem). If you have to use some replacements for faxgetty and sendfax (e.g. provided by the card manufacturer), there might be a limitation.

 

Maybe you could give us some more information.

I'm using Debian Lenny as server and is there any way to enable PRI with only using the open source version of hylafax-server? PRI module perhaps?
