This looks very similar to a problem that I just responded-to on-list
a few minutes ago.
My guess is that your USR Sportster modem is giving you this trouble.
In your case it's PPS-MPS, and there should be no disconnection.
So is there anything I can adjust in Hylafax to compensate - or the
problem will persist until I change my hardware?
