[hylafax-users] Problems upgrading Hylafax to 2:6.0.3-5.1ubuntu1

I am currently upgrading my Ubuntu system from 9.10 (Karmic) to 10.04 LTS (Lucid). Everything works fine - the only exception ist hylafax with many problems:

During the automatic installation, the hylafax configuration stoppes

cp: „/etc/hylafax/pagesizes“ und „/var/spool/hylafax/etc/pagesizes“ sind die gleiche Datei (=...are the same file)

After this, I have removed the complete hylafax installation and have tried to re-install the installation with

apt-get install hyafax-server hylafax-client.

The installation worked fine, but at the end, the terminal went into an endless loop, requesting
Area Code [ ]?
There was no option to enter anything except to kill the process.

After several tries, I could stop the installation. I have seen that several instances of hylafax were running that could not be stopped.

I could start faxsetup and faxaddmodem manually, and hylafax (fax receive) works fine. But - in /var/spool/hylafax are no scripts, so I do not have a notification or anything else!

Any idea how to solve this problem and to install a "clean" hylafax?

Thanks for any feedback!

Rudolf
