Subject: [hylafax-users] modem status

When I ran "faxstat -s" command on my first Hylafax+ 5.2.9 server, I can see the modem status but when I ran it on my second new setup server Hylafax+ 5.4.1, I just saw the

On first production server, I can see this...

[root@ifax ~]# faxstat -s
HylaFAX scheduler on localhost.localdomain: Running
Modem ttyS0 (+1.604.922.9758): Running and idle (exempt)
Modem ttyUSB0 (+1.604.921.8839): Running and idle
Modem ttyUSB1 (+1.604.922.9758): Waiting for modem to come ready

On second lab server for Hylafax+ 5.4.1, I saw this only..

Any idea?

I created a file /etc/event.d/ttyS0 and have this content in file

start on runlevel 2

start on runlevel 3

start on runlevel 4

start on runlevel 5

stop on runlevel 0

stop on runlevel 1

stop on runlevel 6

respawn

exec /usr/sbin/faxgetty      /dev/ttyS0

But when I ran, /sbin/start ttyS0,

I have this...

root@ifax2:~# /sbin/start /etc/event.d/ttyS0
start: Unknown job: /etc/event.d/ttyS0

Please help.
