Hi,

I'm a junior ubuntu user, I've installed a file/print/fax
server on two hp ml110 and everything works except receiving
fax.

I'm using ubuntu server 8.04 and hylafax v 6.0.2 that I
think I've installed correctly (I'm successful in sending
fax, printing them or receiving by mail using customized
script, and sometimes receiving them). It happens that
sometimes (more than 60%) fax aren't received, and the modem
hangs keeping the line busy, at this point I'm able to
restore it only rebooting server (restarting service or turn
off/on modem doesn't works).

I'm using serial modems I've tried several usr sporsters
33.6 and 56k modem, and digicom ones with every settings
possible between 1 and 2.0 class modem and tried to follow
forum advices editing config manually, but nothing change
about my problem.

I'm using two telephone lines from an analog board on my
provider (FASTWEB) router.(this may be a problem...but
analog phones works correctly if i use them)

In this period of the year these lines would have to receive
more than 200 fax by day..so you can understand my concern,
I've also set the modem only in reception but nothing
changed.

I've seen that i've always the v21 signal error recorded in
the same pattern when the reception fail.

Sometimes instead the fax is received correctly and the line
come free and the modem still works for the following fax.
