Problem solved.

The downloaded version (Diva4Linux_installer_9.0-108-38.bin) only
supports kernel version <= 2.6.25 (while I'm using kernel 2.6.26)

The new release Diva4Linux_installer_9.0-108-40.bin (Service Update
SR9.0 SU 1) will allow an automatic install on kernel versions 2.6.26
and 2.6.27.
