[hylafax-users] Cannot get fax calls to answer with hylafax 5.2.7

Hello.

 

I just installed HylaFAX (tm) Version 5.2.7 and now I cannot receive any faxes.

The fax calls are not answered.

 

I also had to do the following to get hylafax to start:

apt-get update; apt-get install slapd

ln -s /usr/lib/libldap_r-2.4.so.2 /usr/lib/libldap_r.so.2

ln -s /usr/lib/liblber-2.4.so.2 /usr/lib/liblber.so.2

ldconfig

When I restart hylafax I get:

root@EfaxServ:/etc/hylafax# /etc/init.d/hylafax restart
Stopping HylaFAX Servers.
HylaFAX: faxq hfaxd (without SNPP support).
root@EfaxServ:/etc/hylafax#

When I check hylafax status IMMEDIATELY after I restart I get:

root@EfaxServ:/etc/hylafax# faxstat
HylaFAX scheduler on EfaxServ: Running
Modem modem (+1.650.555.1212): Running and idle
root@EfaxServ:/etc/hylafax#

 

With hylafax 4.4.3 initialization took several seconds, with 5.2.7 it happens instantly.

I don't know if this is a clue as to what is wrong with my hylafax installation.

 

hfaxd is running, as is evident in my top dump.

 

I'm using the same exact config files as I was using for hylafax 4.4.3
