Thanks a lot. This solved my issue. So does that mean faxaddmodem ttyS4 
created wrong ouput? I read something about to copy content to 
/var/spool/hylafax/config/mainpine-10, which looks very similar to your 
file. How is this config file used. Should it be taken by faxaddmodem?
