I build this deb package on Debian Etch 4.0r0, and if that's not your 
environment, then it possibly will not be a perfect fit.

If you have libldap installed, but it's not got the specific dso file 
number that it's looking for, you could try simply creating symlinks to 
the newer versions of the dso named as what the executable is trying to get.
